The Striders are a hard-working rock’n’roll band that delivers a heavy groove with a lot of soul and heart. With fuzzy guitar riffs, catchy vocal melodies and an incredible energy, they mix rock, soul and blues into a powerful blend. Their music has its roots in 70s blues rock but with their own sound it becomes something new. When The Striders are on the stage, they always give 100% and the audience gets both a hefty dose of their music and a memorable live show.
The latest album is self-titled and was released in June 2023. The new record is a strong evolution of the band’s music and in connection with this they have developed an entirely new stage show. Two singles and a music video also preceded the album release. The music video was published in collaboration with Classic Rock Magazine on their website. The album has received a warm reception with interviews and reviews in publications like Sweden Rock Magazine and Classic Rock Magazine.
During the spring, the band signed with Golden Management, they also partnered with Flick Agency for a PR campaign and digital distribution ahead of the release of ”The Striders.”
Over the years the band has completed two tours in Germany and performed about fifty gigs around Sweden. In the fall of 2023, they will embark on yet another tour, this time with performances in Finland and Sweden.
